Casting The Last Five Years!

- The Berkshire Theatre Festival Stockbridge, MA
LORT B; $750/week minimum + housing/trans.
1st rehearsal: May 31, 2010. Runs: June 22 – July 10.

Casting note: The Last Five Years is thru-sung, so roles require spectacular singers.

Seeking:
Jamie Wellerstein:
Male, an ambitious, talented novelist in his late 20s-early 30s, Jewish, lively and optimistic, a go-getter. He is confident, attractive and energetic, rushing through life determined not to let any opportunity or experience pass him by. High lyric baritone or bari/tenor with a pop-rock edge.

Catherine Hiatt:
A struggling actress in her 20s-early 30s, talented, attractive and sensitive, but can’t push aside her insecurity and deep fear of not being good enough. She is too smart and too aware of all the obstacles to be able to believe blindly in success and happiness. She works hard, but is too good of a person to be ruthless, cruel and push her way to the center, even when that’s where she deserves to be. High soprano/belt with a pop-rock edge.

NYC auditions will be held on March 25 and 26, by appointment only. Seeking submissions from Actors’Equity Members only for these auditions.
