Seeking 4 Black women, 1 Hispanic and 1 Caucasian women:
Tenisha Franklin (African-American 30-40) In-house attorney for the clients, secret drinker.
Della Goldstein (Caucasian 30-40) a WASP who appears to be dimwitted but has a dark side.
Emma Jackson (20 to 30) a child batterer in denial.
Morgan Hunter (African-American 20-30) ex-foster child, recovering drug addict and bully with a dark secret.
Sandra/Sissy Keys (African-American late 20’s-30) a multiple personality connected to one of the women in the house.
Rita Worthington (Latina 30′s), in charge of the sanctuary pods.
This play is about mental illness and battered women on the run. Rehearsals begin in October. Opens: Nov. 3rd-14th, 2010 at the ATA in the Sargent Theatre. NON-EQUITY/NO PAY. Bring resume, headshot and be prepared to read Sides.
